Chicken tikka sizzler and prawn curry were absolutely fantastic, delicious and made to our taste. The portions were big. Fantastic service, kind and polite. The prices of food and drinks are very reasonable I would recommend the food highly. The only thing to consider is in terms of the pub as a whole: The was a cricket on all TVs. It would be great to have some music somehow.

By far one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. The choice of food is small, but that works in their favour as it means the quality of the food is phenomenal! I had the mega mixed grill which seems very expensive but the value for money is incredible. It almost deserves a title on man vs food with the amount you get! Pool table the other side of the bar with locals always up to have a game with you. Great atmosphere, great venue!

Went to the Port and Ale today for hubby's birthday treat. Everything was great from the moment we walked in. Great friendly and professional service. And the food was excellent, best we've had in a long time. Steve had the Goat Curry, which was rich and tasty, with a deep flavour. The meat was melt in the mouth tender. My son and I shared a Mega Grill, which was delicious. A mini mountain of different meat, chicken and fish on a sizzling platter, we even had enough to take some home. The young man serving us was friendly, polite and professional, very attentive. We would definitely recommend this place, we'll definitely be going again.

Food is genuinely amazing and not too pricey i'd have happily paid 20 more for the food we had. Everyone was friendly, but not overbearing. Especially the young lady working the bar, excellent music taste and DJ skills.
